I'm not sure you guys recall but last month I bought this gorgeous dress at Primark. This purchase was a bit of a leap of faith because, although I tried it in the store, I was a bit afraid I'd regret buying it later. I already have a couple of Summer dresses so it wasn't definitely on my plans to buy another one but when I saw this dress I just felt like it wasn meant to be. Of course, I was super excited to get the chance to wear it and last weekend the weather was quite lovely so I thought I'd give it a go!

As I was thinking on what I could wear with this dress, this bag my mom gifted me at Easter when I was at home immediatly came to my mind. As I don't have godparents, my mom tried to make it up for me and surprised me with this lovely gift. Thing is, she knows me too well so there was no way I wouldn't just fall in love with a colourful, sort of retro inspired bag that even says 'Paris' (and, as I'm a bit nerdy, I decided to match it with my cute french flag earrings, I surely couldn't pass it!).

I've been wearing this bag quite oftenly and this past weekend it just occured to me it has the perfect size to carry my DSLR around! Although I already have my camera for a few months now, I still haven't found the perfect camera bag for it... do you have any suggestions?

Não sei se se lembram mas no mês passado comprei este vestido fantástico na Primark. Esta compra foi um bocado incerta porque, apesar de o ter experimentado na loja, estava um bocado com receio de me arrepender mais tarde de o ter comprado. Já tenho alguns vestidos de Verão por isso definitivamente não estava nos meus planos comprar outro mas quando vi este vestido soube que tinha de o ter. É claro, estava super entusiasmada por ter a oportunidade de o usar e no fim-de-semana passado o tempo estava bom por isso decidi aproveitar!

Quando estava a pensar no que usar com este vestido, esta mala que a minha mãe me ofereceu na Páscoa quando estive em casa veio-me imediatamente à cabeça. Como não tenho padrinhos, a minha mãe tenho compensar-me e como tal fui surpreendida com esta maravilhosa prenda. A verdade é que a minha mãe me conhece demasiado bem, por isso é claro que eu me ia apaixonar por uma mala colorida, meio retro e que ainda diz 'Paris' (e, como sou um bocado nerd, decidi combiná-la com os meus brincos com a bandeira de França, não podia deixar passar a oportunidade!).

Tenho usado esta mala frequentemente e neste passado fim-de-semana ocorreu-me que tem o tamanho perfeito para transportar a minha máquina fotografica! Apesar de já ter a minha máquina há uns meses, ainda não encontrei a mala perfeita para a minha máquina... têm alguma sugestão?

As I told you on my last outfit post, I am currently about to graduate so for now on I'll a bit away from the blog. Thing is I have everything (tests, essays, exams) in a row now so soon I'll see the end of the semester coming and I just wanted to get everything done so the blog will have to be left a bit behind. Fear not, I will keep working on some posts and hopefully soon I'll be back, better than ever!

Como vos disse no último outfit post, estou quase a licenciar-me, por isso daqui para a fente vou estar um pouco afastada do blog. A verdade é que agora tenho tudo (frequências, trabalhos, exames) seguido por isso em breve vou estar a ver o fim do semestre a chegar e só quero ter tudo feito por isso o blog vai ficar um pouco para trás. Years ago, I had a completely different style which included wearing trainers every single day. In fact, I didn't own any other shoes than trainers (and that is the reason why I still lack shoes these days!). Right now all the remaining trainers I still own are lying under my bed, unworn for a very long time. This week I opened an exception and decided to wear these ones which were one of my first purchases a couple of years ago at Primark for 4€. I still remember I was walking at the store when I saw these trainers. There was only one pair hanging there and it was my size so of course I brought them with me! Unfortunately, I bought these right when my style was changing to they barely have seen the day light. Still, they seemed to fit perfectly in this outfit and are the most comfortable thing for a stroll around Lisbon which included an ice cream date.

With Spring coming, I decided to wear some pastels. This blazer from Romwe was the perfect fit. I've been dreaming of this blazer pretty much since it was on store (that was perhaps a couple years ago!) and it has been a piece that has been back in stock over and over but only recently I got to buy it due to a sale. I was so happy when I got it last week, although, if you're thinking on buying one, I'd recommend on purchasing a small size than your usual one. I bought a size M but as the blazer is open, it has a large fit so I think I'd rather have a smaller one... still love it though! 

I decided to pair it with a couple of recent purchases from C&A! I recently won a contest and had a voucher as a prize so at the beggining of the month I just did my very first haul ever! Of course, at the end of the month I'll show you my newest acquisitions, but I am betting you will see them all on outfit posts before then because I just can't resist!

Há uns anos atrás, eu tinha um estilo completamente diferente que incluía usar sapatilhas todos os dias. Na verdade, eu não tinha qualquer outro tipo de calçado para além de sapatilhas (e essa é a razão pela qual ainda tenho tão poucos sapatos hoje em dia!). Actualmente todas as sapatilhas que restaram estão debaixo da minha cama, sem lhes dar uso há muito tempo. Esta semana abri uma excepção e decidi usar estas que foram uma das minhas primeiras compras há uns anos atrás na Primark por 4€. Ainda me lembro que estava a passear pela loja quando vi estas sapatilhas. Já só havia um par pendurado e era o meu tamanho, por isso é claro que as trouxe comigo! Infelizmente, comprei-as basicamente quando o meu estilo estava a mudar por isso quase nunca viram a luz do dia. Ainda assim, pareceram-me assentar perfeitamente neste outfit e são muito confortáveis para um passeio por Lisboa, que incluiu ir comer um gelado.

Com a Primavera a chegar, decidi usar tons pastel. Este blazer da Romwe encaixou na perfeição. Ando a sonhar com este blazer basicamente desde que foi posto na loja (talvez já há uns anos atrás) e tem sido daquelas peças que acabam sempre por voltar a estar em stock mas só recentemente o comprei devido a uma promoção. Fiquei tão feliz quando chegou na semana passada, ainda que, se estiverem a pensar comprar um, eu recomendasse comprarem um tamanho abaixo do vosso normal. Eu comprei um tamanho M mas como o blazer é aberta, fica com um corte largo, por isso gostava de ter comprado um mais pequeno... ainda assim adoro-o!

Decidi combiná-lo com algumas das minhas compras recentes na C&A! Recentemente ganhei um concurso e tinha um voucher como prémio, por isso no início do mês fiz o meu primeiro haul de sempre! É claro, no final do mês vou vos mostrar as minhas novas aquisições, apesar de apostar que ainda as vão ver nos meus outfit posts antes por eu não conseguir resistir!

I need to apologize to you for not posting as much as I usually do here on the blog. Just to update you on the swing of things, in about a month I will have my BA concluded so, of course, right now I am a busy bee not only working to get all my stuff done but also with traditional events with have here in Portugal when finishing a degree. Expect a lot of photos and details about it real soon, I will spam you! haha Jokes apart, it's thrilling to see the path I've walked through! You may not be aware of it but I created this blog right after I started my degree so Drawing Dreaming has been there all the way, it was also a sort of blog to go through my BA haha Of course, now the after-degree period is coming so you might see change here... in about a month I'll be babbling about my future, my dreams and what's coming next. It's frightning to see I will be 20 and holding a degree and I'm trying not overthink about it. Still, I have been trying to decide what will be next on my life (because so far I was a bit clueless!)... well, we'll see! If everything goes as planned, I will be dedicating more time to this blog real soon and working a few changes here! I can't wait!

Tenho que pedir desculpas por não andar a publicar tanto quanto costumo aqui no blog. Apenas para vos actualizar sobre o que tem acontecido na minha vida, mais ou menos daqui a um mês terei a minha licenciatura concluída, por isso, é claro, neste momento ando super ocupada não só a tentar fazer tudo, mas também com os tradicionais eventos de fim de curso. Esperem muitas fotos e detalhes sobre isso em breve, até vão ficar fartos! haha Piadas aparte, é incrível ver o caminho que percorri! Para o caso de não saberem, eu criei este blog pouco depois de começar o meu curso, por isso o Drawing Dreaming tem estado lá durante o caminho, tem sido uma espécie de blog ao longo da licenciatura haha É claro, agora vem o período pós-licenciatura por isso esperem algumas mudanças aqui... daqui a cerca de um mês estarei a divagar sobre o meu futuro, os meus sonhos e o que vai vir a seguir. É assustador ver que terei 20 anos e um curso mas estou a tentar não pensar demasiado sobre isso. Ainda assim, tenho tentado decidir o que virá a seguir na minha vida (porque até aqui acho que não fazia ideia!)... bem, depois se vê! Se tudo correr como planeado, vou dedicar mais tempo a este blog em breve e fazer algumas mudanças por aqui! Mal posso esperar!
